Welcome to Assent Performance
Founded in 2021, Assent Performance was born from a simple goal: to help athletes achieve levels of health, strength, and fitness they never thought possible—to prepare them for any challenge, any time. After three years of coaching athletes for free, I launched this service to bring personalised, performance-focused coaching to runners of all levels.
I’m based in North Cumbria, originally from Liverpool, and I’ve worked with everyone from complete beginners to national-level runners—across distances from 5Ks to single – and multi-day ultramarathons.
Meet Your Coach
My coaching is built around truly personalised 1:1 support. Together, we’ll look at every aspect of your performance—training, nutrition, strength, sleep, stress, even the finer details like mineral balance and neurotransmitter support. No stone is left unturned. But I don’t just tell you what to do — I teach you why you’re doing it. My goal is to educate and empower you so you can confidently navigate your own training journey, cut through confusing messaging online, and build a deep trust in your own abilities. The long-term vision? To guide you to become your fittest, fastest, and healthiest self—while making sure we have fun along the way.
Coaching Details – £150/month
I offer fully personalised online coaching, with limited availability for in-person sessions throughout the year. Whether you’re running your first 5K or your 50th ultra, I bring a deep understanding of the following:

- TrainingPeaks Premium + fully updated weekly plans (adjusted as needed)
- Access to a private coaching group (community, accountability, discounts)
- Discounts on Lactate Threshold Testing and APN Supplements
- Education on the principles of training and nutrition
- Race-specific support: pacing, fuelling, hydration, mindset—and where possible, in person pacing/support
Minimum Commitment: 3 Months
Building the coach-athlete relationship takes time. That’s why I ask for a minimum 3-month commitment. This gives us the space to build your foundation: setting training zones, improving intensity control, and getting dialed in with nutrition, sleep, and stress—all without overwhelm.
